                              METHOD OF LOSS CALCULATIONS

· Cost of parts is calculated as under:
  Rubber and Plastic parts, Tyres, Batteries at 50% depreciated value.

· Glasses at full value.

· All other parts and extra fittings at 5% depreciation per year of the
   vehicle’s life up to a maximum of 50%.

· Any loss due to any mechanical or electric failure, routine wear and 
  rear are out of the scope of the policy.

· Loss and/or damage to any accessories (including tyres) due to theft 
  is not covered unless such a vehicle has been stolen at the same 
  time.

· If a vehicle is driven under the influence of alcohol, drugs or without 
  valid driving licence meets with an accident, No claim can be made

· In case of total loss, the Insurance Company may:
     1. Permit retention of the damaged vehicle by the insured and 
         compensate him for the damage on Cash Loss Basis.
     2. Take over the damaged vehicle and compensate accordingly.
